|
The great ancient Saints who discovered and unfolded the secrets energy of Kundalini, have suggested that before starting Kundalini-Yoga, a person should prepare himself for it, but in modern time there are people who suggests that no preparation is required for Kundalini awakening, a number of people are following them and puting themselves in a state of confusion because due to lack of basic knowledge they are unable to understand the things properly. Though Kundalini awakening is the one and only way to attain the divine wisdom and knowledge, so we should know the basics of meditation such as - control of breath, concentration of mind, control of thought, regularity, immense devotion etc. The Awakening of Kundalini may be attained through MEDITATION or through the blessings of perfect Saints. The awakening of Kundalini through Meditation is a bit long and definite way and through blessing of perfect Saints, Kundalini is awakened instantly. But whenever there is any unnecessary display of super natural powers and wisdom, a very little current of the Kundalini is activated with the activation of SUSHUMNA only in the majority of such cases and the people innocently stumbles in the practice of Kundalini Sadhna. So it is essential that one should choose a right GURU (Teacher) for learning Kundalini Sadhna. The FIRST thing which a person should learn is the posture in which he or she should sit because in Kundalini Sadhna a special posture of sitting is required for MALES - Sit with folded legs with one heel pressing the perinium region i.e. between the rectum and testicles and for FEMALES - Sit with folded legs with one heel pressing the vagina and the other pressing the clitoris. The SECOND thing required is that we should activate our AAGYA CHAKRA first as it commands all our divine actions. The NEXT thing required in Kundalini Sadhna is the control of breath as the respiratory system has a sort of control function over the nervous system and to develop breath control we should first set a rythem of our breathing because rythemic breathings makes all the molecules of the body to move in one direction towards the mind. The mind controls all motions, when all the motions of the body becomes perfectly rythemic, it produces tremendous vibrations and develop a high state of vibrations of mind and vibrations of superconciousness. When all these vibrations are combined together one attains the state of Samadhi. The aim of controlling the breath is to activate the coiled up energy (Kundalini) resting in MULADHARA
